Veterinary External Affairs Manager (Veterinarian) Switzerland

Rig Animal Health Recruit is seeking a veterinary External affairs manager for a world leader in the Pet food sector. You will have external affairs and communications related experience alongside a veterinary degree, preferably with a strong European network.

We are currently looking for a VETERINARY EXTERNAL AFFAIRS MANAGER with proven experience to join their European team based in Switzerland.

Main responsibilities -
As a key member of the European Veterinary Channel Team, the Veterinary External Affairs Manager will be responsible for leading and inspiring the local veterinary channel teams to build the company’s scientific image and equity within the veterinary community, through building a strong veterinary stakeholder network across Europe.

This position offers considerable autonomy, opportunities both to travel and network with some of the world’s leading veterinary scientists and is ideally suited to a veterinarian with a collaborative and strategic mind-set, strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of veterinary stakeholders and external relations.

Required Experience & Qualifications -
Veterinary qualification, ideally with a post graduate qualification. International experience working within the veterinary industry with a wide contact network across Europe. Strong relationship skills and excellent communication competencies. A strong team player. Fluent English - written and oral (preferably with a second language)
